At Leafield C.E. School we have highly skilled, experienced teachers and support staff. Many members of our staff team have worked at our school for a substantial period, providing our children and families with stability and a sense of community.
Mrs Axford is experienced headteacher of Leafield and St Peter's School, Alvescot. She is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. She is also our Collective Worship Lead, Data Protection Officer, Allergy Lead and Mental Health First Aider.
Mrs Abberley is an experienced teacher who works in Murphy Class (Year R) on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. She is also one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads. She is our PE lead.
Mrs Merry is an experienced teacher in Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6). She works on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. She is our Maths Lead.
Mr Heffernan is an experienced teacher in Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6). He works on a Thursday and Friday. He is our Computing Lead and is undertaking training as SENDCo.
Mrs Smith is an experienced teacher in Murphy Class (Year R). She on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She is our Early Years Lead.
Miss Ledbetter is an experienced teacher in Donaldson Class (Year 1 and 2). She is our Phonics Lead.
Mrs Kelly is an experienced teacher in Rosen Class (Year 3 and 4). She is also one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Mrs Williamson is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mrs Williamson will be supporting children in Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6). She is also our Emotional Literacy Support Assistant.
Mr Stoneham is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mr Stoneham will be supporting children in Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6).
Mrs Kitto is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mrs Kitto will be supporting children across school with their literacy skills.
Mrs Gough is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mrs Gough will be supporting children in Murphy Class.
Miss Dawson is one of our Learning Support Assistants.
Mrs Rogers is one of our Learning Support Assistants.
Mrs Smoth is our School Office Manager and our Health and Safety Officer. She is also one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Mrs Smith is our Administrative Assistant and will be supporting the school office and our families from 8.30 a.m every day.
Mrs Ncube is our after-school club leader. She is our lunchtime supervisor, supporting children both in the dinner hall and out on the playground. She also supports in Murphy class in the afternoons.
