At Leafield C.E. school we have highly skilled, experienced teachers and support staff. Many members of our staff team have worked at our school for a substantial period, providing our children and families with stability and a sense of community.
Our Headteacher
Faye Dean BA (Hons), M.Ed.
Headteacher
Ms Dean gained her experience and skills as a school leader whilst working in London for just under 20 years. With a Masters Degree in Education, she is passionate about providing a challenging, broad-based, inclusive curriculum which places importance on the emotional wellbeing of children, so that they can flourish academically and socially.
Our staff
Rhiannon Abberley
Mrs Abberley is our Senior Teacher and is the Class Teacher for Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6). Mrs Abberley works as the Acting Headteacher for one day a week.
Letitia Merry
Mrs Merry is the Class Teacher for Donaldson Class (Year 1 and Year 2). She works in our school Tue to Fri. Mrs Merry is also our Special Needs Coordinator and one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Emily Percy
Mrs Percy is the Class Teacher for Murphy Class (Reception) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Gemma Jobson
Mrs Jobson is the Class Teacher for Murphy Class (Reception) on Thursday and Friday. Mrs Jobson is also one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Helen Sinton
Mrs Sinton is the Class Teacher for Rosen Class (Year 3 and 4).
Helen Kelly
Mrs Kelly is a Class Teacher working across the school in Years 1 to 6.
Lorraine Williamson
Mrs Williamson is one of our Teaching Assistants. In the academic year 2023-24, Mrs Williamson will be supporting children in our Blackman Classroom (Year 5 and Year 6) Classroom. Mrs Williamson is also our ELSA lead (Emotional Literacy Support).
Chris Stoneham
Mr Stoneham is one of our Teaching Assistants. In the academic year 2023-24, Mr Stoneham will be supporting children in our Blackman (Year 5 and Year 6) Classroom.
Rachel Kitto
Mrs Kitto is one of our Teaching Assistants. In the academic year 2023-24, Mrs Kitto will be supporting children in our Murphy (Reception) Classroom.
Katie Gough
Mrs Gough is one of our Teaching Assistants. In the academic year 2023-24, Mrs Gough will be supporting children in our Donaldson (Year 1 and Year 2) Classroom.

Miss Dawson is one of our Learning Support Assistants.

Miss Howard is one of our Learning Support Assistants.
Louise Kenny
Mrs Kenny is our School Business Manager, our Health and Safety Officer and Data Protection Officer. She is also our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Natalie Green
Miss Green is our Administrative Assistant and will be supporting the school office and our families from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. every day.
