At Leafield C.E. School we have highly skilled, experienced teachers and support staff. Many members of our staff team have worked at our school for a substantial period, providing our children and families with stability and a sense of community.

Rhiannon Abberley
Head of School
Mrs Abberley has been teaching at Leafield Primary since she was a newly qualified teacher 18 years ago. She started as a Reception Teacher, moved up to Upper Key Stage 2 and Senior Teacher, and is now Head of School.

Tim Edwards-Grundy - Executive Head
Mr Edwards-Grundy is the Executive Head supporting Leafield School in the academic year of 2024-2025.
Rhiannon Abberley - Head of School
Mrs Abberley is our Head of School and is the Class Teacher for Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6). Mrs Abberley works as the Head of School Mon-Thurs, and Blackman Class teacher Weds and Thurs. She is also one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Letitia Merry - Class Teacher (Y5/6)
Mrs Merry is the Class Teacher for Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6). She works at our school Mon, Tues and Fri. .
Emily Percy - Class Teacher (Reception)
Mrs Percy is the Class Teacher for Murphy Class (Reception) on Mon, Tues and Weds.
Gemma Jobson - Class Teacher (Reception)
Mrs Jobson is the Class Teacher for Murphy Class (Reception) on Thurs and Fri.
Lars Boardman - Class Teacher (Y1/2)
Mr Boardman is the Class Teacher for Donaldson Class (Year 1 and 2).
Helen Kelly - Class Teacher (Y3/4)
Mrs Kelly is the Class Teacher for Rosen Class (Year 3 and 4).
Lorraine Williamson - Teaching Assistant (Y5/6)
Mrs Williamson is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mrs Williamson will be supporting children in our Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6).
Chris Stoneham - Teaching Assistant (Y3/4 & Y5/6)
Mr Stoneham is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mr Stoneham will be supporting children in our Blackman Class (Year 5 and Year 6) and Rosen Class (Year 3 and 4).
Rachel Kitto - Teaching Assistant (Reception)
Mrs Kitto is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mrs Kitto will be supporting children in our Murphy Class (Reception).
Katie Gough - Teaching Assistant (Y1/2)
Mrs Gough is one of our Teaching Assistants. Mrs Gough will be supporting children in our Donaldson Class (Year 1 and Year 2).
Zoe Dawson - Learning Support Assistant (Y3/4)
Miss Dawson is one of our Learning Support Assistants.
Lynette Simmonds - Learning Support Assistant (Y3/4 & Y5/6)
Miss Simmonds is one of our Learning Support Assistants.
Sophie Rogers - Learning Support Assistant (Y1/2)
Mrs Rogers is one of our Learning Support Assistants.
Louise Kenny - School Business Manager
Mrs Kenny is our School Business Manager, our Health and Safety Officer and Data Protection Officer. She is also our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Natalie Smith - Administrative Assistant
Mrs Smith is our Administrative Assistant and will be supporting the school office and our families from 8.30 a.m every day.
Grace Challans / Ash Fox - SENco
Mrs Ash Fox is our SENco Assistant who is supported by the SENco Grace Challans.
